The book entitled “On the Learning of Chinese”was launched at the University of

Hong Kong on 10 March 2011. The book, which is sponsored by the HKU Strategic

Research Theme Fund, is with the use of Theory of Variation as the primary learning

framework to study the relationship between the learning and teaching of Chinese.
